Pastor Doug's Thought For Today 6/25

Good Morning,

I had surgery on Monday, and I am back in the office on Wednesday.  I had PT this morning and feel like I am on my way to recovery.  Dr. Smith said it was worse than he expected, but the surgery made a full correction.  I have a nice scar as a badge of honor, or at least a reminder I survived a partial knee replacement.  PT thought I would be running in a year so here we go.  All that said I will be in and out this week and Sunday will be a call for Sunday morning.  Construction is in full swing, and we have the parking lot folks here, so I guess welcome back.  Thank you for your prayers and support.  It really means more than I can express!

Blessings, Doug

Today's Scripture

Jeremiah 23:24 (New International Version)
Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them?” declares the Lord. “Do not I fill heaven and earth?” declares the Lord.

Today's Thought

Humanity has this thought that we can hide from God.  It started in the garden when Adam and Eve tried to hide.  We continue to think we can somehow get outside of God's vision.  God fills every space.  We should turn to God, not try to turn away.   Just a thought for today!
