Pastor Doug's Thought for Today February 2

Good Morning,

It is Monday and we begin a new month.  The temperature has improved and I am thankful for that.  I hope to work a full week this week.  I am not recovered from the flu but I am much better.  I made it through a funeral on Saturday and three services Sunday. I have a funeral at 1:00 as we say our earthly goodbyes to Mary Cornett.  My thoughts and prayers are also with the Sporeleder family today.  Jim, Carol's cousin in Chicago passed and his funeral is at noon,  May this be a great day and may the grace of Gos surround you.

Blessings, Doug

Today's Scripture

1 Corinthians 2:9 (New International Version)

However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”— the things God has prepared for those who love him—

Today's Thought

We have not seen it or heard it.  Paul tells us that we can't even conceive it.  What is Paul talking about?  It is what God has prepared for us.  It isn't because of our accomplishments but because of God's love and grace.  I hope we can be thankful for a God that loves us beyond what we can comprehend. Just a thought for today!
