Every year, families gather around televisions to reminisce, celebrating the season through the nostalgic Christmas classics of our childhood, perhaps the most iconic featuring the journey of the beloved Charles Schultz characters discovering the true meaning of Christmas. But hidden within this vintage cartoon is a story of rejection and redemption symbolized in what we now know as the "Charlie Brown Christmas Tree". Like Charlie's tree, do you feel unwanted or not quite good enough this Christmas season? Join us on December 23 or 24 as we hear the story of God's redeeming and unending love in "A Charlie Brown Christmas".
Save the date!!! Bring your pillows and blankets and put on those pj's as Ashland hosts a Christmas Family Movie Night! We will be showing "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and "A Charlie Brown Christmas" in the sanctuary on our new wide-screen screen. Snacks including popcorn will be available as well as hot cocoa.
