Reverend Dr Nora Jones was reared in Springfield, Missouri. She received her BS and MS degrees in Biology from Missouri State University as well as her Psy.D in clinical psychology from Forest Institute of Professional Psychology. She currently works at Western Reception and Diagnostic Correctional Center in St. Joseph MO as a Post-doctorate Clinical Psychologist. She will be serving Ashland United Methodist Church as the Mission Coordinator.
She graduated from St. Paul’s School of Theology (SPST) in Kansas City, Missouri in May, 2006. She has served as a youth pastor and lead pastor in four local churches on the eastern side of the state and Southwest, MO. She has served on Conference Committees, the District Committee of Ordained Ministry, volunteered in Public Schools, serves as neighborhood community organizations; was the co-chair in Franklin County disaster relief, and has lead multiple mission teams throughout the United States and Haiti.
She is an avid reader, loves Cardinal Baseball and KC chiefs, likes to exercise, hikes, and enjoys singing and playing trivia. She has five siblings, as well as several nieces and nephews.
