Congregational Care are ministries in which we show our Ashland family we care for them in their time of need. Praying for and with one another, visiting the homebound, wishing each other a Happy Birthday!...they are all ways of sharing Christ's love. Here are some of the ministry opportunities in the area of congregational care:
Heartmates - Heartmates are Ashland members who are paired up with a senior who is homebound or possibly just needing a friend. They have contact with that person monthly by a personal visit, card or phone.
Hospital Ambassadors - These Ashland members visit the hospital on a set day of the week on behalf of the AUMC family. You set the day you're available and bless our folks who are under the weather.
Casseroles for Christ - Frozen casseroles cooked by Ashland members are delivered to families who may be grieving, moving, or are in need otherwise. Contact - Dlo Duvall
